Detailed Guide |
|
The Path to Enlightenment - a trial sanctuary created by ancient sages of enlightenment. Radiant Apprentices must undergo trials here, gather sparks of wisdom, traverse misty illusions, and confront embodiments of unknown darkness to overcome fear of the unknown, ignite their own Phosphorus Lamp, and walk toward a bright future. If an apprentice has completed 60 Guidance Quests and reached Bond Level 3 with their mentor, they may challenge the "Path to Enlightenment" together to prove their capability to stand independently on their adventure journey. Upon entering, Guiding Sage·Sura - an ancient mentor whose spirit guards the Path to Enlightenment - will provide guidance. Warriors can learn about the challenges here. When ready, speak to him to begin.
To graduate, apprentices must first light the symbolic "Phosphorus Lamp" by traversing obstacles to find Wisdom Fire Spirits. Scattered wisdom sparks provide energy, increasing movement speed. Collecting them makes trials easier.
The path contains monsters and traps. Apprentices must avoid them while mentors eliminate threats. Falling into traps reduces movement speed - avoid this if possible. Upon reaching a Wisdom Flame Spirit and conversing with it, the "Phosphorus Lamp" will be lit and given to the mentor for use in subsequent challenges. Next comes "Path of Seeking" - in a dark labyrinth, mentors use the lamp's light to dispel mist and activate mechanisms while apprentices clear obstacles and operate devices to find the way forward. Darkness obscures the path. The lamp's light reveals directions. "Enlightenment Prisms" refract this light - mentors charge them to emit directional beams. By adjusting "Phosphorus Prism", barriers can be removed through cooperative effort.
Darkness harbors dangers like Lost Shadows - monsters immune to normal attacks unless revealed by prism light. They create pollution zones that can be cleansed by redirecting light to "Pure Crystals". Additional obstacles include falling rocks and activated mechanisms, but mentor-apprentice teamwork can overcome them. After traversing the dark mist, apprentices face the final trial - "War Against Darkness". Here, apprentices must solo challenge the powerful Shadow of Ignorance·Annoen - embodiment of darkness and the unknown. Overcoming fear of darkness proves true independence.
Don't worry overly - mentors can assist by using the lamp to activate mechanisms outside the battlefield!
Annoen's "Dark Devourer Strike" creates pollution zones. Mentors can activate Pure Crystals to cleanse them.
"Corrosive Dark Lightning" deals massive damage. Mentors must activate "Vigor Crystals" to heal apprentices when hit. "Dark Shield" grants Annoen powerful protection. Mentors can activate "Flare Crystals" to create light explosions that shatter the shield. Annoen also hinders mentors with "Dark Mist" that deals continuous damage. Pure Crystals can dispel this mist. Defeating Annoen within 3 minutes completes the challenge! Apprentices receive graduation gifts. Once mentor, always friend. Graduation isn't the end but the beginning of lasting bonds. Mentors should keep in touch, and apprentices should remember their teachings. |
