Brief Walkthrough

1. The Mist Cave tasks range from 1-star to 3-star. Tasks of higher star level requires a higher Mercenary Level but offer greater rewards upon completion.

2. Upon entering Mist Cave, mercenaries can take the Halo of Purity from the Light Altar. Use its radiant light to dispel dark mist and uncover hidden treasures.

3. The Halo of Purity will gradually dim over 2 minutes after removal from the altar. Finding Small Light Altars during exploration can extend its duration.

4. Beware of potential traps.

Detailed Walkthrough

The clumsy mercenary Fink stumbled into this fog-filled cave during his battlefield exploration. After barely escaping, his report prompted the Mercenary Association to send brave adventurers to investigate this mysterious cave's origins.

Accepting the task, you enter Mist Cave and find complete darkness except for the faint glow of the central Light Altar.

The altar's inscriptions reveal Mist Cave's history and the function of Halo of Purity. To explore, you claim the halo.

True to the inscriptions, the Halo of Purity repels the dark mist, revealing numerous treasures. You notice its glow beginning to fade.

Just as concern sets in, you discover a Small Light Altar in the mist. Its residual light energy revitalizes your Halo of Purity.

Your exploration alternates between finding treasures and avoiding traps. When the halo finally extinguishes after prolonged use, you leap through the cave entrance just before complete darkness reclaims the cave. Fink watches your successful return with awestruck admiration.
