Brief Walkthrough

1. After accepting the task at Mercenary Association, adventurers can visit Beast Soul Witch Yelena at Ancient Battlefield (324,410) and go to the Beast Soul Front to start the challenge.
2. Use Origin Crystals to energize, deploy, and strengthen Soul Defenders to eliminate invading beasts.
3. Soul Defenders gain bonus energy when defeating same-attribute beasts. More stored energy means greater rewards.
4. If Doom Demon appears during combat, all Soul Defenders will be destroyed (losing their stored energy) and the challenge immediately fails.
5. When the challenge ends, Mercenary Association awards Mercenary Points based on your remaining energy.
Note: If Soul Defenders survive the challenge, you'll receive additional Mercenary Points based on their stored energy.

Detailed Walkthrough

Since Ancient Battlefield emerged from the temporal storm, local beasts corrupted by the energy of Origin Crystals have launched relentless attacks on mercenary outposts, driven by insatiable crystal hunger.

Association mages have developed six Soul Defenders modeled after powerful Eudemons and Divine Eudemons. By channeling Origin Crystal energy, you can deploy these defenders to repel beasts.

To aid the Mercenary Association and command Soul Defenders against the beast onslaught, seek Beast Soul Witch Yelena at Ancient Battlefield (324,410) and face the challenge at the Beast Soul Front!

As you arrive at Beast Soul Front, the beasts' greedy snarls echo nearby. Quickly spend Origin Crystals to energize and deploy your Soul Defenders!

All Soul Defenders possess formidable combat capabilities. Additionally, if they defeat same-attribute beasts, they can harvest and recycle the beasts' Origin Crystal energy.

After initial deployment, sound the Beast Luring Horn to draw nearby beasts into attacking Beast Soul Front.

During each assault wave, beasts charge toward the Ancient Battlefield portal. Thankfully, your Soul Defenders valiantly intercept and eliminate the invaders.

Your strategically deployed Soul Defenders to defeat the same-attribute beasts perfectly, harvesting substantial energy. This energy can either strengthen defenders or be exchanged for Mercenary Points post-battle.

The more energy a Soul Defender stores, the more it gains when defeating same-attribute beasts.

When you voluntarily end the challenge, Mercenary Association awards you Mercenary Points for all remaining energy. Surviving Soul Defenders grant bonus points based on their stored energy.

Beware the terrifying Doom Demons, creatures overloaded with Origin Crystal energy that exist solely to destroy. Their appearance triggers catastrophic explosions.

Encountering a Doom Demon destroys all Soul Defenders (with total energy loss) and causes immediate failure.

Doom Demons may appear during any assault wave. Remain vigilant!
