The Legend of Shadow Knights

Origins

At the very beginning of the world, there were no cheats and killings. While building the Golden Kingdom, Cronus, the god of the land, drove all chaotic substances away to the edge of the universe, which caused the formation of an impure cloud. This is the start of evil.

The impure cloud kept encroaching on the souls of deities, until it fused with the evil in their deep mind and bred a bloody evil dragon, Nega. When Nega spread its wings, it became strong enough to shadow the whole land. Nega grew 7 heads and 7 spirits which respectively represented the seven sins.

In the path of Nega, only death and destruction was left behind. The World Tree was in imminent danger. Cronus had to confront the devil personally. The battle finally ended up with the failure of Nega, however, the Golden Kingdom was almost ruined.

The evil dragon broke into pieces while falling down. Its flesh, breath and spirits were confined to three talismans:

The breath, the source of Nega’s power, was suppressed by the Dark Cross Seal.
The flesh was buried in Gobi Desert, breeding numerous dragon creatures.
The spirits were sealed in the bodies of humans, the masterpiece of Cronus.

Knights in the Golden States

In order to preserve the last fruit of the Golden Kingdom, the creator rooted out the pure land and placed it over the World Tree, dubbed the `Golden States`. Seven leaders of the states were chosen to purify the Dragon Spirits, assigned to turn the original sins into seven virtues. Cronus set the Golden States as a forbidden zone indefinitely, blocking all deities from approaching, and then fell into a deep sleep because of mental and physical exhaustion.

Unfortunately, the deities failed to keep their words. Driven by the desire for the power of Dragon Spirit, Cold the warfare and Orichi the chaos launched overwhelming attacks at the Golden States. At the critical moment against the fierce enemies, the knights were given no choice but combined the seven Dragon Spirits into one. The combination changed the appearance of these knights. Their blood became boiling as lava, and eyes burning as fire. They were transformed into the Shadow Knights, endowed with incomparable strength.
With the dragon power, the knights defeated the proud enemies, and the power was passed on from generation to generation in the Golden States.

Knights Return at the Termination of Peace

For thousands of years, the continent has gone through many times of havoc. Cronus City eventually rose up in the ruins. Nonetheless, it`s too early to announce the ultimate victory of humans yet, since the new leader of demons, Seymore, emerged. He seized the Dark Cross Seal which contained the Dragon Breath, and enchanted the holy seal with his blood.
New havoc is threatening.

Since the telepathy among the three talismans, the Shadow Knights in the Golden States felt the change of the Dark Cross Seal. Though living far way from our world, the knights returned to the continent to prevent the frozen sins from waking up. The alliance formed between the Shadow Knights and the Royal House of Cronus has been prepared against the devastating storm of evil.
