Brand New Island
Legendary, in the era of ancient gods, the primordial Dragon God was born from the chaos, lingered over the Eastern Sea, and fell during the war of annihilation. Its majestic body transformed into a scattered archipelago in the Eastern Sea, and Numen originated from these mysterious islands.
The journey of Adventurer and Ephemera departs from Ethereal Realm, arriving at the second island: Celestial Ruins. Here, a new type of Numen appears before the world, and Ephemera records these Numen as follows:
|
Numen Name |
Numen Introduction |
Companion Habit |
Appearance Location |
|
Mycora |
A strange Numen that is both animal and plant, even Mycora itself does not know where it originally came from. In its vague early memories, it only remembers a flash of shining spiritual power falling from the sky, melting onto its mushroom cap. Then, its chaotic consciousness suddenly cleared, and Mycora found that it could rise from the soil and had gained the ability to spray air jets, blowing anything that stepped on its cap into the sky with a gust of wind. |
【Gentle】Mycora likes to live in secluded corners of the rainforest, away from conflict. As long as you don't step on its head, there will be no problem. |
Northeast of Shadow Forest |
|
Lumiboa |
Lumiboa is a descendant of the giant elephant community in the rainforest. Compared to their ancestors, Lumiboa has a more delicate and compact body to adapt to the rainforest environment. However, this so-called delicacy is only relative to the mountainous bodies of their ancestors. In the eyes of the tribespeople of Celestial Ruins, Lumiboa is still a behemoth. |
【Honest】Lumiboa inherits the honest nature of its ancestors, never hesitating to extend a helping trunk to smaller creatures. |
Southwest of Shadow Forest |
|
Glimora |
Glimora is the most beloved small Numen. During bright daylight, they lie on various sunny spots, lazily napping and absorbing warm sunlight through their crystalline patches. At such times, even if you approach to observe them, they won't move a muscle. When mist rises in the rainforest or night falls upon the land, they generously emit the light stored in their bodies to dispel darkness for you. |
【Clever】Glimora is smarter than all other Numen. While others are busy, it finds a warm and bright place to take a good nap. |
West of Shadow Forest |
|
Aethera |
Aethera often spreads its broad wings in the sky, trailing its long tail feathers behind, flying in the radiant sunrise or brilliant lightning. Its glowing tail feathers absorb all light and store it within. It is the master of wind and cloud seas, ruling over the rainforest canopy of Celestial Ruins. It is said to have obtained the power of growth from Azure Dragon God, a power that makes Aethera the king of the sky. |
【Aloof】Wings command the storm, light brings rain and growth power. The king of Gallop Sky possesses an innate aloofness and pride. |
Eternal Abode |
|
Crystor |
Crystor is both a resident and builder of caves. With its hard armor and sharp claws made of Gem crystals, Crystor moves unhindered through caves, searching for a unique food: the Gem deposits in the caves. It extracts and absorbs the energy from within the Gem, while the remaining Gem essence concentrates on its claws and back armor. Therefore, discovering Crystor in a cave is equivalent to finding a Gem vein there. |
【Irritable】Don't easily anger Crystor; this hot-tempered little guy will leave you no foothold in Celestial Ruins. |
East of Crystal Cave |
|
Aquilyn |
Aquilyn is a Numen born from Gem deposits in caves. They detest filth and prefer clean Water Source, as only clean flowing water can help them polish their shining bodies. Aquilyn 's body is entirely composed of shiny crystals, with light occasionally emitting from it. It is said that the light emitted by Aquilyn possesses the power of ultimate purification. |
【Cleanliness】Aquilyn naturally loves cleanliness and hates filth. They will do everything possible to clean the mud in caves and purify contaminants in underground water veins. |
Central of Crystal Cave |
|
Echomyr |
Echomyr spends its entire life in underground caves. It can swing the six antennae around its head to emit sound waves, using echoes to explore the surrounding environment, and can also mimic the sounds of other creatures to confuse enemies. These cute Numen also secrete a layer of venom on their bodies for self-protection. Echomyr is the best companion for cave explorers in Celestial Ruins; with it, you have a living map of the caves and never need to worry about getting lost. |
【Echo Sound】Echomyr can emit sound waves from its six head antennae to mimic the sounds of other animals, making it a cute imitator. |
West of Crystal Cave |
|
Ashhowl |
Ashhowl 's bloodline can be traced back to the ancient Ethereal Realm, sharing a common ancestor with Emberhowl. However, a Numen covered in calamity fire is destined to be unable to coexist with the rainforest, so Ashhowl had to retreat into caves, turning its flame into the color of embers. During the time when Azure Dragon God disappeared, Ashhowl obtained the power of extinction emitted by Dragon God, giving its unique black fire the power of withering and extinction. |
【Enduring】Ashhowl lives in caves only to control the power of extinction within itself. Its endurance and restraint grant it a deeper understanding of this power. |
Nirvana Cave |
|
Chronyx |
It is the shadow cast by Azure Dragon God over Celestial Ruins, the embodiment of the truth of withering and flourishing. The laws of growth and extinction manifest through its body in the world, and mastering the cycle of all things is its destiny. Each time it descends, the flow of time near it is distorted, the land withers and then returns to prosperity, and what should span a thousand years of great changes occurs in a single breath. Such is the power of Chronyx. |
【Rare】The projection of Azure Dragon God, this rare Numen rarely appears in the mortal world and will only fight for a true Hero. |
Azure Grotto |
Celestial Elderwood
Celestial Elderwood is located at the canopy of the rainforest, the tallest tree in Shadow Forest. The islanders of Celestial Ruins have built their homes on its branches. Suspended high above the island, it overlooks the entire rainforest. Adventurer can use floating stones to travel between the canopy and the ground.
Of course, after Adventurer activates the Dragonvein Wonder formation, they can also use the Dragonvein Wonder formation to reach their desired destination.
Shadow Forest
Celestial Ruins is a strange island; its foundation is riddled with holes, yet upon this broken foundation, an unusually lush rainforest rises up. It is tainted by the growth power of Azure Dragon God, causing every leaf in the rainforest to grow wildly, and the Numen living there possess astonishing strength.
In the northeast of Shadow Forest, lives a group of strange Numen that are both animal and plant, called Mycora. In the early stages of their "mushroom life," these cute Numen wander around the rainforest, which is also their favorite time to Travel Together with Adventurer. When the "mushrooms" mature, they find a quiet spot to take root and become giant mushrooms. At that point, stepping on their caps will instantly blow you into the sky!

In the rainforest, there also lives the large Lumiboa. It gets its name because compared to its distant ancestors, its size has greatly shrunk to adapt to the environment of this small rainforest island. However, to other residents here, Lumiboa is still a behemoth.
If you encounter unpassable ditches or obstacles in the rainforest, Adventurer can also seek help from Lumiboa——only those that have "grown up into elephants"! They will wrap Adventurer in their trunks and blow them out in one breath, and you can even choose the landing spot. How convenient!

To the west of Shadow Forest, there is a forest perpetually shrouded in dense fog. Here live the glowing Glimora, which use their own light to guide travelers on the right path. Of course, they sometimes play tricks on impolite travelers, making them take a few extra detours.
Besides these Numen, a powerful Numen named Aethera also inhabits Shadow Forest. It is said to live year-round in a secret realm called Eternal Abode. If you can find this place, you can see its true form.
Aethera rarely leaves its nest, but whenever the spiritual power of growth and extinction conflicts, it leaves Eternal Abode to fight with another powerful Numen: Ashhowl. This event is called the King of Numen. When Adventurer is in the battlefield of the King of Numen, if they can seize the opportunity to defeat both kings of Numen, causing them to enter Weakness State, there is a chance to capture Aethera and Ashhowl.
However, when the King of Numen event just begins, it is best for Adventurer not to approach, as the battlefield is quite deadly at that time.
Crystal Cave
Crystal Cave is the underground world of Celestial Ruins, said to be the rock foundation destroyed when Azure Dragon God awakened, now transformed into a vast network of caves. In Shadow Forest, you can enter Crystal Cave through three entrances: Kunlun Wood, Lingzhi Realm, and Cloud Cliff.
The eastern part of Crystal Cave is the ecosystem of Crystor. Adventurer can find these Numen with hard armor and sharp claws here, skilled at digging through rock and soil in caves, feeding on Ore and Gem in the earth.

In the central part of Crystal Cave, Aquilyn bears the heavy responsibility of purifying all Water Source in the cave. This is a Numen shaped like a Gem, with abundant light emitting from its body. They detest filth and prefer clean Water Source, as only clean flowing water can help them polish their shining bodies.

The western part of Crystal Cave is the territory of Echomyr. These cute Numen spend their entire lives in underground caves, swinging the six antennae on their heads to emit sound waves and judge their surroundings. With their keen movements and body venom, they live freely and happily in the caves.
Besides these Numen, a place called Nirvana Cave is hidden in Crystal Cave, filled with the power of extinction lost by Azure Dragon God, and inhabited by a powerful Numen named Ashhowl.
Azure Grotto
Azure Grotto is the most mysterious area of Celestial Ruins, a secret realm where Azure Dragon God resides. As the guardian god of Celestial Ruins, every move of Azure Dragon God affects the cycle of withering and flourishing of all life on the island.
Back then, Azure Dragon God, attacked by Omniscient Demon King, completed its reincarnation under the protection of Adventurer. Now, it has prepared a rewarding trial for Adventurer in Azure Grotto.
When Adventurer emerges victorious in the trial, they can obtain a projection of Azure Dragon God. This strongest Numen is named Chronyx, the embodiment of the truth of withering and flourishing. The laws of growth and extinction will manifest through its body in the world, bringing the strongest assistance to Adventurer.
